SAAK, a people’s campaign for Universal Health Systems, Karnataka is a state-level collective of various trade unions, people’s organizations, civil society organizations, networks and individuals working on public health and nutrition issues, including beedi workers, construction workers, garment workers, domestic workers, sex workers, sanitation workers, manual scavengers, migrant workers, unorganised workers, women, gender and sexual minorities, tribals, Dalits, farmers, elderly, people with disability, urban and rural poor, HIV infected people, and others. We are working together to ensure a Universal health system based on the right to health in Karnataka.
